From the Edge of the Visible Universe and Back Again: Telling Stories with Data
Curtis Wong, Principal Researcher at Microsoft, will give a lecture at Lowell Observatory's Giclas Lecture Hall about the WordWide Telescope and the effect it has had on space exploration and research. This talk will cover how the creation of the WorldWide Telescope to visualize the Universe served as the foundation to explore more complex dynamic data sets and how its guided tours will help democratize access and understanding of spatial temporal data back here on Earth.
