Second Friday Science Night
Join us for an unforgettable night that includes an indoor presentation by a scientist, fascinating experiments that are sure to amaze adults and kids alike, and viewing through multiple telescopes. Sparks will fly when we perform chemistry experiments at 6 and 8 PM. At 7 PM, hear about the important research of Andrew Douglass, who helped Percival Lowell establish the Observatory in 1894 and later founded the science of dendrochronology (tree ring dating). This program will be presented by Paul Sheppard of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University, located at the University of Arizona.
