Walk Your Socks Off to Benefit NAMI Flagstaff
Wake up on October 19th, pull on a pair of whacky colorful socks, and come to Buffalo Park by 11:00 a.m. to help NAMI Flagstaff bring life-changing physical fitness programs to people with mental illness in Flagstaff. For a $20 registration, you get more than a walk in the park!
- You get a whimsical, family-fun festival that also features music, dancing, food carts, games, face painting and other kids’ activities, a Cake Walk, and good times full of good laughs.
- You also get to meet Erin Callinan, author of Beautifully Bipolar: an Inspiring Look into Mental Illness, and her “Team-Erin” parents Mike and Pril Callinan. Erin has the wellness, spirit, and incredible support system to thrive with mental illness and to inspire us all to thrive with our own differences.
- And you get a T-Shirt and a marker when you arrive at the park so that you can write your uniqueness on the back of your shirt and walk with others to celebrate our differences.
