Job Description
If you’ve been to Flagstaff Mall lately, you’ve seen the construction and probably enjoyed a visit with one of our new tenants. All that of these changes are a preview of the fabulous things to come.

To assist with our growth, we are hiring a Property Accountant to take on the day to day accounting responsibilities. We are looking for an individual who will jump in and be a part of our small, but mighty property management team.
We’re looking accountants with experience in commercial real estate, preferably in the commercial estate industry. The following highlights role responsibilities:
• Preparing budgets, annual operating expense reconciliations, monthly accruals and month-end reports;
• Preparation of tenant contracts and correspondence; abstracting and inputting lease data into accounting system;
• Receiving and processing tenant payments; follow-up on delinquent accounts;
• Verifying rent roll, posting charges, manual adjustments and miscellaneous billings;
• Reviewing, summarizing reports and documents, preparing spreadsheets, financial models, including presentations, memos, etc.;
• Handling internal and external requests as well as establishing and maintaining solid, sound rapport with co-workers, tenants, clients and vendors.
• Working at various mall events (yes, sometimes in the evening and/or on weekends) and taking on and/or participating in projects that may or may not fall under the general scope of property accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years related work experience; experience in retail/shopping center environment required with sound understanding of lease terminology
• 2+ years CAM experience preferred
• 2+ years’ experience using accounting software; Kardin & Timberline software preferred
• 3+ years’ experience at an advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
