DESCRIPTION:Join us at Mountain Sports Flagstaff on Friday\, October 2 (5 8 PM) for First Friday Art Walk as we welcome Sam Dauderman of Coconino Metal Works as our featured artist.\n\nSam is the owner and artist behind Coconino Metal Works\, where much of her practice centers on custom commissions and one-of-a-kind pieces designed to create a personal connection with their owner. A longtime Flagstaff local\, Sam earned her BFA in Metalsmithing from Northern Arizona University and has spent most of her life learning\, building\, and creating in one form or another.\n\nDrawing inspiration from shapes found in nature\, architecture\, and everyday objects\, Sam works with metal\, wood\, and repurposed materials to craft pieces that are functional\, playful\, and built to last. Whether designed to be worn or used\, her work reflects a deep appreciation for both form and function. For Sam\, the greatest joy is in the design process itself and the challenge of bringing each idea fully to life.\n\nStop by during Art Walk to meet Sam\, explore her latest creations\, and experience the thoughtful craftsmanship behind Coconino Metal Works.
