DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun spring event to learn more about the Friends of Slide Rock State Park! Hear from a ranger about the historic orchards and the cycle of apples.\n\n\n\nAt 11 a.m.\, Kathy Pendley will do a presentation inside the Apple Packing Shed about the history of the Pendley Homestead. There will also be two bluegrass bands - "Beaver Creek Gals" and "Duck Pond" playing inside the apple shed. The Sedona Plein Air Painters will be in attendance. Picnics are encouraged at the North Orchard.\n\nThis event is free with park entry.
