Event Description:
NABA and the National Safety Council are hosting 10/30 Hour Construction Industry OSHA Class.  Classes take place Feb. 25th – March 1st. If you are taking the 10 hour class, Mon. Feb. 25th – Tues. Feb. 26th will be your days of attendance.  If you are taking the 30 hour class, your days of attendance will be Mon Feb. 25th – Fri. March 1st.  To receive your certification you MUST attend ALL of the classes. 
NABA will provide beverages for those attending, however you are responsible for providing your own lunch. We suggest you bring your lunch.
Times may vary each day. Space is limited, if you are interested, sign up today. The class will take place here at NABA 1500 E. Cedar Ave. Suite 86 (near Little Caesars).

Monday February 25th:
8.00-9:00 Intro to OSHA
9:00 -11:00 Falls Focus 4
11:00-12:00 Lunch
12:00-1:00 Caught-In Focus 4
1:00-2:00 Struck-by Focus 4
2:00-2:10 Break
2:10-2:40 PPE
2:40 - 3:10 Health Hazards
Tuesday February 26th:
8:00-9:00 Scaffolds
9:00-10:00 Hand / Power Tools
10:00-10:10 Break
10:10 -11:10 Electrical Focus 4
11:10 - 12:15 Lunch
12:15 - 1:15 Stairways/Ladders
1:15-2:15 Excavations

Mon. & Tuesday will cover part of the 30 hours and all of the 10 hour Construction Industry Class.  Tuesday 10 hour Construction will be complete. You must attend ALL of the class to receive your certification. Beverages will be provided, please bring your lunch. Please note Mon. & Tues. are an 8:00 am start time.  Wed. – Fri. is a 7:00 am start time.

OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Industry – February 25 & 26
COST: $250 for NABA Members / $300 for Non-Members
PURPOSE / AUDIENCE: OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Industry is a part of an outreach program that results in a valid DOL / OSHA 10 Card. This training course teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. This course is intended for entry level workers who want to improve jobsite safety and learn OSHA requirements for safety in construction.
