Dinè Women and Weaving with Dr. Jennifer McLerran

Gain an understanding of the centuries-old art form, Navajo weaving. Rich in visual imagery, Dr. Jen McLerran will provide an overall introduction to the art form, decode symbolic iconography, and discuss how this tradition has been passed down from generation to generation. To provide context for her presentation, McLerran will analyze specific examples from MNA collections.
