DESCRIPTION:Greetings from the Flagstaff Rotary Club:\n\nIn the upcoming Rotary year 2021/22\, our Club will celebrate its Centennial 100 years of service to the Flagstaff Community! To mark this occasion\, we will kick-off the year with a charity golf tournament- "Puttin' in the Pines". It will be held on August 2nd at Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club.\n\nThe proceeds from the event will be shared between Northland Hospice and Palliative Care and The Flagstaff Rotary Foundation\, from which the funds will be used to further the efforts of The Flagstaff Rotary Club to support various projects in the Flagstaff Area. Among our Club's efforts in 2020: we bought seven laptops for the new Killip School STEM Lab\, raised $2\,600 for the Navajo Water Project\, and built 35 handwashing station for the Navajo Nation to help them in their efforts to combat Covid 19. That is just the tip of the iceberg!\n\nWe are asking your help in making the tournament a fun and lucrative event. The cost to participate in the tournament is $150 per golfer\, or $575 for a foursome. We have 18 "hole" sponsorships for $150 each\, and one beverage cart sponsorship for $300. You can donate non-cash items\, which will be used as awards or prizes during the event. To publicly recognize your generosity\, your name will appear on our club's website\, on signage on the course\, and listed in a "thank you" ad published in the Arizona Daily Sun following the tournament.\n\nRotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors\, friends\, leaders\, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive\, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.
