    The Williams, AZ Area

Visiting the Grand Canyon area in northern Arizona? Our Williams, AZ hotel, on Cataract Lake Road near 7th Street is a great place to stay. The city of Williams was named after William “Old Bill” Williams - a mountain man and trader who lived in the area. It was the last town to have its section of Route 66 bypassed.

Many businesses remain along Urban Route 66, which is also part of Williams Historic Business District, meaning there is plenty to do in town. Williams is located along I-40, in the Kaibab National Forest, and is the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway, which takes visitors to the Grand Canyon Village. Our hotel’s location near the Grand Canyon Railway makes access to the Grand Canyon incredibly convenient.
