Cancer Support Community Arizona's Flagstaff 5th Anniversary & A Walk to Remember

Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCAZ) is celebrating five years of serving northern Arizona with A Walk to Remember, a free community event on Saturday, Oct. 10th.

The event honors the people the Flagstaff location has served since opening in 2021 and helps raise funds to keep CSCAZ's cancer support programs free throughout northern Arizona.

The day begins at 9 a.m. with a free, public 1.5-mile walk from CSCAZ’s Flagstaff office (914 N. San Francisco St.), featuring educational stops and opportunities to connect with medical partners. A second community walk begins at 11 a.m. on the Northern Arizona University campus from the Upper Observatory Field (University Drive and South San Francisco Street), with participants asked to arrive by 10:45 a.m.

Throughout the day, CSCAZ will also host registered classes and workshops for individuals and families impacted by cancer. Community members are invited to participate in the two walks, while individuals and families impacted by cancer can register for classes, workshops and a complimentary lunch.
