Winter Birding Workshop
Trevor Hinckley will give a one hour presentation on the particulars of winter birding in the Flagstaff area to be followed by a field trip. Topics covered will include finding, feeding, and identifying wintering bird species. We will focus on the great rewards of winter birding and practical tips and tricks for maximizing winter birding experiences. Following a brief lunch/snack break after the presentation, participants will apply what they have learned along Lake Mary Road, and at Mormon Lake. Come and experience how fascinating and exiting winter birding in Flagstaff can be.
*If you do not have a pair of binoculars, we can provide you with loaners.
