86th Annual Hopi Festival of Arts & Culture
86th Annual Hopi Festival of Arts & Culture Not to be missed, this is one of the longest-running festivals in the state. The Hopi Festival of Arts & Culture has been a Fourth of July tradition since the 1930s and was recognized by the Governor for its contribution toward the cultural preservation of Arizona. The festival brings nearly 100 award-winning artists and presenters from the Hopi villages of Northern Arizona for a weekend celebrating their culture, tradition, and arts. Festival goers can buy traditional and contemporary art directly from the artists, including katsina dolls, weaving, jewelry and painting. Hopi musicians and dancers perform in a tent under the pine trees.More information at musnaz.org
