In this workshop, tailored for business owners, we will demystify Generative AI and its powerful applications for business success. Leveraging the INSPIRE Methodology, the session will guide participants through essential skills of Generative AI's such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, focusing on practical, easy-to-implement strategies that can enhance productivity, innovation, customer engagement, and decision making. The workshop will include hands on examples, showcasing how AI can be customized to meet specific business needs, followed by a Q & A session to address individual queries and provide personalized advice.

John Gartin, Director of NAU Career Development

John is the Director of NAU Career Development at Northern Arizona University, is a coach and educator with a rich background over three decades in leadership, team building, program development, and career readiness. His background includes 8 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve, adjunct teaching at 5 different colleges and universities and he has been a NCAA D1 and D2 woman's rowing coach earning 6 Conference Championships and 1 NCAA Championship. He holds a B.S. in Geography from the University of Old Dominion University and a M.A. in Geography from the University of South Carolina. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Leadership at NAU where his capstone research resulted in the creation of the INSPIRE Methodology of Generative AI  Prompt Engineering & The Application of Generative AI models in Leadership, Career, Team, and Coaching Development.
