Holiday Cheers at Lowell

Looking for a more spirited way to experience the cosmos? This weekend only, we’re raising a glass to the universe with a holiday-themed twist on stargazing. On December 26 and 27, step into the Great Planetary Hall (Astronomy Discovery Center, 2nd Floor) for a pop-up bar cart experience set among stunning imagery of our solar system. Sip a glass of wine or local craft beer, mingle with Lowell astronomers, and take in stunning, high-definition planet photography displayed throughout the Astronomy Discovery Center’s grand ballroom space.

If the Flagstaff weather holds and the skies remain clear, we’ll have one of our digital observing platforms streaming live images in the Great Planetary Hall, allowing you to pair your drink with a direct look at the deep sky.

• When: December 26 & 27 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Where: Great Planetary Hall, 2nd Floor of the Astronomy Discovery Center (ADC)
• Admission: Included with any General Admission ticket. As always, Lowell Members enjoy free entry. Must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol.
