3RD ANNUAL SIPPIN' WITH THE SYMPHONY IS AN IMMERSIVE MUSICAL AND TASTING EXPERIENCE TO BENEFIT THE FLAGSTAFF SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
 
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra’s annual benefit, Sippin’ with the Symphony returns on Saturday, September 2nd from 5:30 to 8 pm at Wiseman Aviation. This fundraiser and Season 74 launch features an immersive musical performance, local wine, beer and food, and a live and silent auction.
 
Sippin’ with the Symphony gives guests a chance to dive into what the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is doing to enrich and engage the Flagstaff community as well as how the upcoming season beginning in September is “breaking sound barriers.” In line with the Season 74 theme of celebrating the collective power of women in classical music, the evening will also highlight women making a difference in the Flagstaff community. 
 
All proceeds support the orchestra’s concerts and its educational and community outreach programs, such as the Carnegie Hall Link Up music education program that serves over 3,500 students across Northern Arizona each year.
 
“Sippin' with the Symphony is a fantastic way to experience firsthand how the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is enriching and engaging our community and leaving a lasting impact,” says FSO’s Executive Director Stephanie Stallings. “This event is a great opportunity to indulge in delightful local fare while celebrating the transformative power of orchestral music in our community.”

Founded in 1950, the FSO is a regional orchestra of 65 musicians that reaches an audience of more than 14,000 each year. Now in its 74th season, it is the largest and most active nonprofit performing arts organization in northern Arizona.
