About Us
In the winter, Arizona Snowbowl comes alive with 2,300 feet of vertical and 777 acres of skiable terrain, offering everything from wide-open beginner slopes to glades and terrain parks for every level. Whether you're linking your first turns or chasing fresh lines, the mountain delivers a full day of progression, views, and high-alpine adventure just outside of Flagstaff.
In the summer, that same mountain transforms into a cool escape at 9,500 feet. Just minutes from town, guests can take in the scenery on a gondola ride, enjoy live music and mountaintop dining, or celebrate special moments through weddings and private events—all surrounded by panoramic views and crisp mountain air.
Since 1938, Arizona Snowbowl has delivered unforgettable mountain experiences for generations. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning for a favorite tradition, Snowbowl offers something special in every season. Come for the day—make it a lifelong memory.
Snowbowl is also home to the largest beginner terrain in the Southwest, where wide, forgiving slopes create the perfect environment for building confidence. With dedicated lifts and surface conveyors, it’s an ideal place for all ages to learn and progress, whether it’s a child’s first day on snow or an adult trying skiing for the first time. The proximity to the base area makes it easy to take breaks, meet up with friends and family, and enjoy the experience together, all while soaking in sunny skies and incredible mountain views.
From early-season turns to late spring laps, Snowbowl boasts Arizona’s longest ski season, with more than 260 inches of average annual snowfall. On any given day, you might find perfectly groomed corduroy under bluebird skies, untouched powder stashes in the upper mountain, or a relaxed après-ski moment on the deck at Agassiz Lodge.
No matter how you choose to spend your day, one thing always stands out—the views. From the San Francisco Peaks to the distant Grand Canyon, Snowbowl offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Southwest, making every run as memorable as the last.
