About Us
The mission of Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music (FFOTM) is to share, promote, preserve and present Bluegrass and other forms of traditional American Folk Music and Dance for the enrichment and enjoyment of our community.
The Flagstaff Folk Festival showcases the best in folk and acoustic music in Arizona and beyond. The festival features up to 100+ acts on three stages and includes workshops, jams, and more. Admission is always affordable and this is a very family friendly experience. The festival is usually held in June over 2 days, Saturday and Sunday.
Pickin’ in the Pines, (PIP), honors the diverse interests of the membership of Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music (FFOTM), featuring traditional, contemporary, progressive bluegrass and acoustic music, including evening “jam” bands, famous trad-grass “forefathers and mothers,” and up and coming musicians both domestic and international.

The Young Jammers mission is to bring music into the lives of young people by providing instruments, lessons, and jamming opportunities.
