About Us

Assistance League of Flagstaff (ALF) is a chapter of Assistance League, a national nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs.

Our mission as an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is to improve the lives of the residents of Flagstaff, Arizona.

Assistance League of Flagstaff was founded in 1978. Last year our members volunteered more than 18,000 hours and returned over $250,000 back to the community, made possible through the proceeds of our Cedar Closet Thrift shop. Our mission is serving the disadvantaged of Flagstaff through our 9 philanthropic programs:
