Arizona Community Foundation Promotes June Brockmeyer to Regional Director for Flagstaff Office
Following a seamless transition and a record-breaking $1.8M collaborative funding initiative, internal leader steps up to guide regional philanthropic growth.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce the promotion of June Brockmeyer to the position of Regional Director for its Flagstaff office. Brockmeyer, who has served as Flagstaff’s Regional Philanthropic Advisor, brings a wealth of donor-facing experience, deep regional relationships, and a proven track record of local impact to her new leadership role.

The appointment was facilitated through ACF’s specialized executive search firm, recognizing that the ideal candidate to maintain the office's strong momentum was already thriving within the organization. Brockmeyer worked closely over the past year with former director Tammy Howell, gaining a thorough and solid understanding of ACF of Flagstaff’s specialized services and community footprint.

During her tenure as Regional Philanthropic Advisor, Brockmeyer’s energetic leadership has driven significant local impact, most notably orchestrating ACF of Flagstaff's recent "Horsetrading" event, which successfully mobilized $1.8 million in charitable investments into the community through collaborative funders.

"June’s energy, passion, and commitment to Flagstaff are truly contagious," said Jennifer Perry, Vice President of Regional Impact for the Arizona Community Foundation. "Over the last year, she has contributed immensely to the growth of the region, building trusted, lasting relationships with our donors, nonprofits, and community partners. By promoting June, we ensure complete continuity of leadership and service for the Flagstaff community. We are incredibly excited to see her guide this office into its next chapter of success."

Prior to joining ACF, Brockmeyer’s career focused heavily on high-profile communication and donor-facing roles, including beginning her professional journey as a TV News Reporter and Weather Forecaster for KESQ News and KUNA Telemundo in Palm Springs. Her unique background in cross-cultural communication and community engagement has allowed her to connect deeply with Flagstaff's diverse network of supporters.

As a result of Brockmeyer’s promotion, ACF has officially launched a search for a new, local Regional Philanthropic Advisor to fill her former position. This vital role will work side-by-side with Brockmeyer, focusing on community outreach, supporting area nonprofits, and helping local donors maximize their charitable impact.
