    ElsnerHR’s origins go back to 1958 when Western Human Resources Associates (WHRA) was started by two Motorola Human Resources Managers who saw a need for HR focus and expertise in the search business. Originally focusing on technical recruiting with a solid reputation for quality and high standards of professionalism, WHRA expanded rapidly into a variety of staffing services including technical recruiting, temporary services, and HR consulting. After half a century of continued growth and expansion that included the addition of local HR legends Dick Fishel and Fred Bocker, Krisanne Elsner purchased the firm in 2013 and is expanding services to also feature general industry executive direct placement.

    Our History
    ElsnerHR’s origins go back to 1958 when Western Human Resources Associates (WHRA) was started by two Motorola Human Resources Managers who saw a need for HR focus and expertise in the search business. Originally focusing on technical recruiting with a solid reputation for quality and high standards of professionalism, WHRA expanded rapidly into a variety of staffing services including technical recruiting, temporary services, and HR consulting. After half a century of continued growth and expansion that included the addition of local HR legends Dick Fishel and Fred Bocker, Krisanne Elsner purchased the firm in 2013 and is expanding services to also feature general industry executive direct placement.

    Krisanne Elsner brings 18 years experience in recruiting. She started her career in the human resources field and worked for several Fortune 500 companies including Unilever, McKesson and Sundstrand Aerospace and eventually founded Southwest Recruiting Services in 2003. Since then, she has discovered and placed professionals in all fields and positions including sales, marketing, financial controllers, and general managers. She has a B.S. in Public Administration, a B.A. in Spanish from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and has an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA.

    Krisanne is also active with the Valley of the Sun Human Resources Association, and serves on the North Valley programs committee. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and is past president of the Arizona Professional Recruiters Association.



    David Liberman possesses more than 20 years of varied business management experience in the manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications and executive search industries. He has been working with Elsner HR for more than 5 years as a search consultant.

    In 2000, David joined AT Kearney Executive Search, as a Consultant in their Technology Practice. He has successfully performed and completed President, VP and CxO searches in e-business, telecommunications, professional services, network solutions and IT solutions and services. Prior to this, David was a member of a boutique executive search firm, The Continuum Group that specialized in Healthcare, IT Solutions and Professional Services.

    Earlier in his career, David served as President of a distribution company. He grew that business to become one of the largest wholesalers in the country. After he sold the company, he became President of a manufacturing establishment in Phoenix, Arizona. Under his leadership and direction, the company’s products were placed in numerous mass merchant outlets in the United States and Europe. Following that, he served as President for an Arizona-based startup franchise organization.

    David graduated with a BA in Political Science, from York University in Toronto. Presently, he resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with his family.



    Melissa Morgan brings over 20 years in recruiting. She majored in Human Resource Management at San Francisco State University, and then started her career working for global staffing organizations such as Accountants Inc. and Robert Half International. Recognized with both national and worldwide accolades, Melissa has recruited in the areas of Human Resources, Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, and Administration. She has specialized in placing HR professionals for the past 8 years but enjoys working with companies across all disciplines and industries. She has a true passion for matching top talent with client organizations and takes pride in building long-lasting relationships. Melissa is an active member in the Society of Human Resources Management, Greater Phoenix chapter.
